MFH Missionsstrasse, Basel

Two adjoining buildings at the corner of Missionsstrasse 40 and Maiengasse 65 appear as a single architectural unit. They define, in the context of an existing road junction, the corner of a building surrounding an internal courtyard. There is no green area in the courtyard - it serves as an access route to the garages. Both buildings were built simultaneously in 1959.
To increase the value of the properties, the riser shafts were renovated and the kitchen and bathrooms were completely replaced.
